Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 May 2026

These terms govern your use of Cohold, a property management tool for co-owners of rental property. Cohold is operated by Alexander Pezarro as a sole trader. By using the service you agree to these terms.

The service

Cohold helps co-owners of rental property track income, expenses, and settlements. We are currently in early access. Features, pricing, and availability may change.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old and a UK resident to use Cohold. One account per person. You must not create an account on behalf of another person without their knowledge and consent.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Cohold for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access another user's data
  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the service
  • Upload content that is fraudulent, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights

If you breach these terms, we may suspend or terminate your account. Where it is reasonable to do so we will give you notice and a chance to put things right first. For serious or unlawful breaches, or where the law requires us to act, we may act immediately. If we end your account, we will provide a data export on request.

Your data

You own the data you enter into Cohold. We process it only to provide the service. See our Privacy Policy for full details. You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting [email protected].

Pricing and payment

The Starter plan is free. Pro plan pricing is shown on the website and billed monthly or annually via Stripe.

14-day cancellation. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the start of a paid plan to cancel and receive a full refund. To cancel within this window, email [email protected] from the address on your account.

You can also cancel a paid plan at any time after the 14-day window. You will keep access until the end of the current billing period. Outside the 14-day window we do not refund unused portions of a billing period.

Availability and changes

Cohold is provided on an "as available" basis. We work to keep the service running but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change features over time; for material reductions in functionality we will give at least 30 days' notice. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give at least 30 days' notice and provide a data export.

Intellectual property

Cohold, including the software, branding, name, and content we publish, is owned by us or licensed to us. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Cohold for its intended purpose while these terms remain in force. Nothing in these terms transfers any of our intellectual property rights to you.

You retain ownership of the data and content you enter into Cohold. By using the service you grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that data only as needed to provide the service to you.

Limitation of liability

Cohold helps you organise information. It is not financial, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for verifying figures before submitting tax returns or making financial decisions.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Subject to the paragraph above, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of Cohold is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have not paid us anything (for example, on the Starter plan), our total liability is limited to £100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect the latest version. For material changes that affect your rights or obligations, we will give at least 30 days' notice by email if we hold your address. If you do not agree to a change, you may close your account before it takes effect.
